THE leading three men’s riders in yesterday’s Ulverstone Criterium lapped the field with Bernard Sulzberger taking the honours from Nathan Clarke and Wesley Sulzberger.Conditions were ideal for racing, with the Tasmanian senior men’s and women’s criterium championships providing Ulverstone Christmas shoppers with some lunchtime entertainment as they raced through the CBD. David Walker, president of the Mersey- Devonport Cycling Club, said that all three riders were in great shape. Launceston’s Laura McCaughey won the Open women’s 36km race ahead by Grace Sulzberger and Kate Detoali.
