A foot found in a New Zealand national park may have been frozen for decades in a glacier before it was located last month, police say.Officers are trawling over lists of missing hikers to try and find the identity of the foot, which was discovered on December 7 but only recovered yesterday. Sen-Const. Brent Swanson from the Twizel police said the remains were found in a plastic boot located at the Aoraki-Mt Cook National Park. Because that type of footwear was introduced in the 1970s it was possible the remains were decades old, Swanson said.
