Rolls a golden oldie

The oldest Rolls-Royce in the world has been sold for a record $8.13 million at an auction in London. Auction house Bonhams described the 1904 model as “a true motoring icon”.The two-seater was the fourth vehicle to be made at the Rolls-Royce factory in Manchester and had just 10hp (7.46kW). It is one of just four left. The record price tag means the old Rolls has become the most expensive car built before 1905.
