`Sterile’ father has child

A British man told he was sterile after being struck by lightning has stunned doctors by becoming a father. Campbell Gillespie, 43, was not expected to survive after he was struck as he jogged through a park near his home in Merseyside in August, 2003.He suffered four breaks to his jaw, smashed teeth, broken eye sockets and four bloodclots on his brain and spent a week in a coma. Baby Brogan, weighing 3.85kg, was born on New Year’s Eve.
