Town in shock after car crash leaves four dead

BRISBANE – The close-knit community of Warwick in Queensland is reeling from shock following the deaths of four young people in a horror road smash. Three men and a woman – aged between 17 and 21 – were travelling along the Cunningham Highway near Warwick, west of Brisbane, about 11.20pm on Saturday when their car lost control after overtaking a truck. Police said the car collided with the semi-trailer, which was carrying corrosive liquids. The three men were past students of Assumption College while the woman recently graduated from Scots PGC, both in Warwick.
